Abstract

Under the terms of current development of the wine sector at European level, wine and vineyards have got a heritage value. Numerous vineyard landscapes have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage, being considered the most remarkable landscapes made through human activity for a long time. Once the wine tourism benefits the most of this advantage, it is necessary to harness this form of landscape in the Republic of Moldova as well, so that it becomes competitive on the tourism market. Thus, this article aims at presenting the Moldovan vineyard landscape, highlighting the resources that underlie the landscape construction and the way it is harnessed and valorized.
